I found this awesome recipe. Can't wait to try it!
Muddy Buddy Brownies
INGREDIENTS
8×8 pan of brownies, baked and cooled (I used a Ghirardelli
mix, which makes a small pan. If you want to use a box/recipe that
makes a large pan, just double the topping)
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
2 TBS milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 stick butter
About a cup of powdered sugar
In the bowl of a mixer, beat 1 stick of butter, peanut
butter, and vanilla until combined and smooth. Add powdered sugar and
beat on medium high until combined. Add milk and beat on high for about a
minute. Spread on pan of brownies and refrigerate for a couple of
hours, until frosting is cold and firm.
Place 1 stick of butter and chocolate chips in a large
microwave safe bowl. Melt in the microwave, stopping to stir at 20
second intervals. Once melted and smooth, cut brownies into squares and
dip the top half of each in the chocolate. Place on a baking sheet and
spoon powdered sugar over the top.

Awesome Scarves? Oh yeah!
I have been finding a ton of awesome project ideas. Some favorites that I just found were a bunch of t-shirt scarves. Unfortunately, I don't have a sewing machine so I'm kinda of limited on what I can actually do, but there was one scarf that did not require any sewing! I made it already and it was super easy and didn't take long at all. Here's the link where I found it, on Amanda's blog - http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/crafts-projects/make-this-quick-n-easy-ringlet-t-shirt-scarf.html
Here's some pics of the scarf that I made from some old shirts that were headed to Goodwill. I think I might actually like shopping at Goodwill now...but only for stuff to use for projects! :)

Another sweet scarf that I really want to try is this one: http://www.putapuredukes.com/2011/09/braided-scarf-tutorial.html
When I can get a sewing machine, I will definitely be making that scarf!

Are you Loving Life??
Hey Everyone!
I just have to say that I feel so blessed. I have an amazing husband, an awesome family, a cozy home and a job that I love. I just ran my first ultra, a 50 miler, and placed 3rd. I have been exploring the world of blogs and DIY projects and have done some myself. I love being done with school which allows me to have enough time to try some of these fun projects.
Are you thankful today? Do you feel blessed? Have you looked around at all that you have the the small things in your life that makes it good? Or are you caught up in the stress of jobs, family, and just life in general? Take a minute to slow down and think about all the blessings in your life!
